01
Who is responsible
PredAtlas operates this website and determines how information submitted directly to it is used. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@predatlas.com.
02
Information we collect
We process technical and interaction information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as request time, requested path, browser or device characteristics, approximate network information and security events.
Analytics may include page views, referrers, searches, filters and outbound-link events. A tool submission contains the product information you enter and, if supplied, your email address.
03
How information is used
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
- Understand aggregate usage and improve discovery flows.
- Review product submissions and communicate about a submission when necessary.
- Detect abuse, enforce service rules and comply with valid legal obligations.
04
Google Analytics
PredAtlas uses Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic, acquisition and site interaction. Google may process identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location and interaction events through cookies or similar technologies under its own terms.
You can limit analytics through browser controls, content blockers or Google’s available opt-out tools. Blocking analytics does not prevent core directory use.
05
Cookies and browser storage
A first-party cookie stores your English or Traditional Chinese language preference. A temporary comparison list is stored in session storage and normally disappears when the browser session ends.
Analytics services may set additional cookies. Security features may also use short-lived storage necessary to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse.
06
Legal grounds
Where a legal basis is required, processing is based on legitimate interests in operating, measuring and protecting the service; consent where it is requested or required; steps taken in response to a submission; and compliance with legal obligations.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Whether a request can be fulfilled depends on the applicable law and the information needed to maintain security or legal records.
07
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be processed by infrastructure, security and analytics providers that help operate PredAtlas. They receive only the access reasonably needed for their role.
We may also disclose information when required by valid legal process, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
08
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used for cross-border processing.
09
Retention
Submission records are retained for editorial review, audit and correction history for as long as they remain useful. Security records are retained for a limited period appropriate to investigation and prevention. Analytics retention follows the configured provider settings.
Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless a longer period is required for security, dispute or legal purposes.
10
Security
PredAtlas uses access controls, restricted administration, encrypted transport and operational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Do not submit passwords, private keys, identity documents or other sensitive personal information through the product submission form.
11
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent. Contact hello@predatlas.com with enough information to identify the relevant submission.
You may also contact the competent privacy regulator. We may need to verify a request and may retain limited evidence that it was handled.
12
Children and changes
PredAtlas is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through its submission process.
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
