01 · Overview
What is PolyTerm?
PolyTerm is an open-source, read-only CLI and TUI for market monitoring, wallet research, alerts, local archives, arbitrage checks and agent/MCP access. Best for: Technical users who prefer terminal workflows and want locally stored monitoring or research artifacts. Less suitable for: Users seeking an official Polymarket client or direct order execution. Key limitations: It does not place orders and uses a saved wallet address only for viewing. Some analytics are heuristic; Kalshi comparison requires a Kalshi API key, and portfolio data has documented source limitations.
